outlining tutorial

i used the outlining tutorial!

1. Write out your text (make sure you are using your floating or selection option!)
here is mine, with the selection around it:

2. Open a new image by going to File>>New. Depending on how big your text is, your new image document size will vary.
here are my settings:

3. Next, go to your document with the text on it, go to Edit>>Copy, like so:

4. Fill the new image that you made with a color, I will be filling mine with #FF90AB. You will now have this:

5. Paste your copied text onto your colored image by going to Edit>>Paste as New Selection. It will now look like this:

6. Go to Selections>>Modify>>Expand

7. A box will then popup, change your pixels to however wide you want the outline to be

8. Copy the text and paste it onto another new image. Then add a shadow or leave it as is!
